In 1965,
Bob Dylan famously said: "You
don't need a
weatherman to
know which way
the wind blows."
Perhaps that was true at the time he said it, but the Times, they have a-changed since then.
What hasn't changed is the climate.
You don't have to take my word for it; just ask Marco Rubio—he's not a scientist, man.
He's also not a serious presidential contender, man—but that's completely beside the point.
The point being, expertise is overrated.
I mean, Rush Limbaugh's tenuous grasp of history didn't prevent him from writing award-winning historical fanfiction.
And despite his lack of medical credentials, Karl Rove was able to diagnose Hillary Clinton with a traumatic brain injury (and not, as many suspected, the Benghazi flu).
Sometimes, the truth hurts.

A small town police commissioner in New Hampshire refused to apologize for being racist. Because Obama!
On March 6, Jane O'Toole was in a Wolfeboro, N.H., restaurant when she heard a town police commissioner call President Obama "the 'N' word." In an email response to O'Toole's complaint to town officials, the commissioner, Robert Copeland, admitted to having made the comment, writing, "I believe I did use the 'N' word in reference to the current occupant of the Whitehouse [sic]. For this, I do not apologize — he meets and exceeds my criteria for such," according to a report from the Associated Press and the New York Times.
Copeland, 82, is one of three elected police commissioners in Wolfeboro, an overwhelmingly white town with 6,300 residents, about 20 of whom are black.

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) once again took to the House floor to denounce the liberal thought police.
The lawmaker told Congress on Friday that "intellectual fascism" violated the civil rights of conservative Christians.
"Now, with this new intellectual fascism that has arisen in our universities, some of them – far too many of them, actually – say: 'If you disagree with our position, we don't want you here. We want you eliminated. We don’t want you to have work. We want your family defiled. We just don’t want you to succeed in any way whatsoever,'" Gohmert said.
And, speaking of positions...
Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association urged the NFL to set Michael Sam straight.
"The NFL is celebrating the sexual equivalent of a brain concussion by going gaga over Michael Sam’s sexual proclivities. [...]
[A]s a young, black, homosexual male, Michael Sam is in the single highest risk category for HIV/AIDS that exists on the planet. The NFL should be warning him, not glorifying him. [...]
If the NFL possessed one ounce of genuine compassion instead of the ersatz kind that exalts what should be condemned, they would be meeting privately with Michael Sam to urge him, in the strongest possible terms, to pursue reparative therapy in the hopes of saving his life."
No pain, no gain.
